Since the Spring of 2025 I have been exploring Fumage. This is a fascinating process that is one of continuous discovery. These are some examples of the work I have been creating.
I consider fumage to be a form of drawing and the majority of the practice is done using dry brushes. In some of these works I am layering with charcoal, watercolor, etc.
